Squidjigger Calgary Montreal

Squidjigger is a Celtic/pop/rock trio (and occasional quartet) based in Montréal and Calgary. The band got its start at a kitchen-party jam session some years ago, and things just snowballed until they found themselves onstage one blustery St-Patrick's Day.

These days, keeping a band going with a few thousand kilometres between members can be a stretch, but the Squids just keep on with the keeping on. They've rocked the room in Ontario, in Alberta and Atlantic Canada, as well as towns both big and small throughout Québec.

The Squids celebrated the launch of their first CD at Hurley's Irish Pub in Montréal in early December of 2010. Check out the music page for more info. To book the band, drop the band an email.

		Squidjigger.ca sprung fully formed from the collosally creative minds and hands of Jes and Peter. Peter spent a whole 18 months in the IT world, several years ago. During that time, he designed and coded automated websites, databases and pretty much whatever else was needed. He has now moved on to the jet-set world of airline management but can still be coerced into a web project if it promises praise and petty favours. Got an abundance of either? Contact him here. After 11 years spent designing everything from pamphlets to software interfaces, Jes left design behind and entered the less lucrative world of freelance writing and black-box theatre directing.
